2009 San Antonio Golf Classic Fund-a-Cause: Kingdom for Kids
Rotary

ATC is proud to be working in partnership with San Antonio Downtown Rotary's Kingdom for Kids to make possible our future "special needs" playground with the funds raised from this Golf Classic. Rotarian volunteers will join City Year Corps members and other corporate teams to complete the project on the weekend of April 2-3, 2010. Together we hope to provide a healthy experience for individuals with autism. Please come and join us in this celebrated event!

ATC is launching an Autism Initiative Capital Campaign that will focus on expanding our facilities and programs to meet the ever-growing need for autism services in San Antonio. Early detection and interventions of autism is very beneficial to the child and their family. Therefore, ATC has decided the Autism Treatment Center Rehabilitation Agency (ATCRA) will be Phase I, breaking ground in fall of 2009. ATCRA will provide a venue for comprehensive diagnosis, assessment and therapies for children with autism. The Kingdom for Kids playground is a part of Phase I of our Autism Initiative.

Kingdom for Kids is a San Antonio Rotary Club sponsored program that partners City Year San Antonio with a ready and experienced volunteer force to build play structures and lead landscaping efforts. Since this program was founded in 1996, Kingdom for Kids has completed seven state of the art playground builds at inner schools and public libraries across the community. Rotarian volunteers will join City Year Corps members and other corporate teams to complete the project in just one week.
