Houston Lone Star Pony Express

The Lone Star Pony Express riders from Montgomery, Harris, Galveston and Waller counties will hit the trail again this year riding proudly through central Texas towns in route to Fort Worth to deliver their saddlebags containing the funds raised by the memebers durin the year. The Lone Star Pony Express was founded in Houston in 1995 to raise money for the Roundup for Autism.  These generous people raise money in their respective hometowns throughout the year and present saddlebags filled with the money they have raised. The Pony Express makes a huge impact on the success of this event and the lives of the people served by the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas. 

The Lone Star Pony Express has contributed nearly $225,000 since they began this wonderful tradition. The riders make a huge impact on the success of this event and the lives of the people served by the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas.

The Lone Star Pony Express charge into 2009 with a whirl-wind of energy andenthusiasm.
They will be holding various events throughout the year to raise funds for the 21st Annual Roundup for Autism.
The 5th Annual Midge and Vern Thrower BBQ Cook-off and Auction will be held on May 30th.
